Cheshire Media was pleased to have played a role, albeit small, in the recent Chatham-Kent Hospice Capital Campaign. The initiative was started because residents of Chatham-Kent wanted another option for end-of-life care.
What the community did is astounding.
Residents, businesses, organizations, as well as other stakeholders, overwhelmingly supported the campaign – well surpassing the $5 million dollar goal!
Cheshire Media was asked to put together a ‘Thank You Chatham-Kent’ video featuring thank you messages from the community leaders that spearheaded the campaign, and we really enjoyed doing our bit.
The big point to stress here is that the success of this initiative illustrates the generosity that is so abundant in this community – we look after our own. It’s a big reason why we and others are proud to call Chatham-Kent home.
Congratulations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Capital Campaign Cabinet on achieving its goal and thank you to the thousands of donors that made this project possible. It is through your efforts that Chatham-Kent will have a hospice this time next year.
Well, they did it! Melanie and Ian got married!
I am so happy to have shared in this day with a couple that is very special to me. Growing up with Mothers who were best friends lead to many shared holidays and special events between our families, Melanie’s wedding was no exception. The weather was perfect and everyone was excited that this wonderful day had arrived.
Melanie and Ian, thank you for allowing me to photograph your wedding day. Enjoy this sneak peek!
Earlier this month, Cheshire Media was delighted to assist Carmen McGregor with some video work as she seeks a seat on Chatham-Kent council in this fall’s municipal election. Below are the four videos that make up her platform.
Last week I had the chance to photograph 3 week old Austin. Even though he was awake for most of the session, he was very cooperative and I was able to get some great photos!
Earlier this year, Ron had the pleasure of working with Kathleen Mundy, a savvy and successful entrepreneur and business coach. We produced a series of videos for her website. In the video below, Kathleen talks about how she got started. We’d also encourage you to visit her website – MakingYourOwnMoney.com.

Ian and Melanie have amazing chemistry and it was effortless to photograph. St. Thomas’ Pinafore Park was where Ian proposed to her. The location was not only sentimental but a beautiful backdrop for some great photos!
Heather is now booking fall photo sessions – $50 for a 30 minute session, along with 10 edited images on disc. Cheshire Media had the distinct pleasure of working with the Wallaceburg and District Chamber of Commerce to create a video that not only showcased the Chamber and its members, but also highlighted the vibrance of the town and neighbouring communities. Over the course of a month, we visited many businesses; owners were very eager to let us know why they’ve chosen Wallaceburg as a base for their operations. We believe we were able to capture the town’s essence. A big thank you to the Chamber members that participated in the video and to Tina Fraleigh, the Chamber’s Office Manager, for assisting us with the coordination of the many interviews.
